I am deeply in love with Johnny. We met six months ago today. It has been 4 days since I have heard from him. He won’t respond to my phone calls or texts. He has been on social media, so I know that he is in good health and fine.

I have no idea why he suddenly disappeared. The last time we spoke, we didn’t argue, in fact we had made plans to get together the next day, Christmas Eve.

When we first met, we both fell in love at first sight. We have had this amazing chemistry and electrical connection since then. He and my children adore each other. He has told me that he wants to be married by this summer. I have told him how much I want him to be a part of my life and how I want to move our relationship forward and take it to the next level. We have talked about moving in together in the new year.

I am 43 and divorced after almost 23 years. My ex was an abusive drug addict and alcoholic. I have full custody of my 3 teenagers. Johnny is 41 and never been married. He has 1 teenage daughter and unfortunately isn’t a big part of her life because of her mother, although he does make the effort and I support his efforts.

I would like Johnny to come back to me, to remain exclusive and faithful to me, to move in as we have talked about. I would like him to be better at communication. I would like us to be married by summer. I want all this and more with the man I love.

He has disappeared before, but usually only for 2-3 days. This is how he handles very stressful situations, he shuts down. He says that he doesn’t want to burden me. I tell him not to shut me out, that I want to be here for him, we are a team and to let me in. He has been better at letting me in and opening up. I realize that this is a process and I am being patient.

I am hoping that you can help me.

    Thank you,

    Jennifer
